The Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer in Deutschland e.V. (Institute of Auditors in Germany) recently updated its position paper commenting on non-audit services. Since June 17, 2016 extended regulations concerning the permissibility of non-audit services of the auditors have to be observed by auditors of so-called Public Interest Entities (PIE).
