On June 2, 2017 the Federal council (Bundesrat) agreed upon the act against harmful tax practices as already adopted by the German Bundestag. The act will enter into force upon signature by the Federal President (Bundespräsident) publishing in the Federal Law Gazette (Bundesgesetzblatt).
